Behind the Scenes: Some Recent Prehistoric Treasure Finds from Wales

Led by curator and archaeologist Adam Gwilt, this is a chance to see some Bronze Age and Iron Age treasure finds recently added to the national collection. The visit will take you to Archaeology’s artefact study room, where much of the work on the collection takes place, also providing a glimpse of the main archaeology store. You will find out about museum work involved with reporting treasure and in revealing new knowledge and stories about finds reported by members of the public each year in Wales.
