Blackweir is a brand new series of shows heading to Blackweir Fields in Summer 2025 programmed by Cuffe & Taylor and DEPOT Live. Cardiff is a hub for live entertainment throughout the year with so many global stars heading to venues of all sizes across the city. Blackweir Fields is the perfect location for a brand new outdoor greenfield concert series with a potential capacity of up to 35,000 people, located perfectly central within the city just a short walk from the iconic Cardiff Castle & in very short proximity of Cardiff University.

GRAMMY-Award winning, Canadian and American indie rock star, Alanis Morissette touches down at Blackweir Fields on Wed 2nd July for what promises to be a show to remember!

Joining the global superstar as she brings her 2025 World Tour to Cardiff will be fellow US rock singer-songwriter Liz Phair followed by Cardiff’s Gwenno and Anglesey’s Megan Wyn.

Due to unprecedented demand the venue has upgraded from Cardiff Castle to Blackweir Fields, all original tickets remain valid for the show.
