Beginners’ glass craft class in Penarth, South Wales that’s perfect for all the family! Suitable aged 8+

Are you on the hunt for things to do in South Wales that your whole family can enjoy? Then look no further than this glass art class. Get creative in a unique way and enjoy some quality time with the people you love.

You’ll be guided by the supportive and experienced teachers from Glass By Design as all the family learn how to make a fused glass picture (10cm x 15cm) or a coaster. This creative workshop is beginner-friendly, so don’t worry if this is a new activity for you. You’ll get all the tips and tricks you need.

Children aged eight and over are welcome to join us in this glass art workshop where they can come up with their own designs with help from their teacher. It’s a really fun group activity for all the family and might be something you’ve never tried before. At least one adult needs to be booked & attend with their children.

Start by applying colourful glass to your piece to form a custom design. Once you’re happy, it’ll be ready for firing. You will be amazed at the versatility of this ‘drawing’ & ‘painting’ technique and will end up with a stunning, long-lasting momento of your session together.

By the end of this class, you’ll have loads of great memories from spending time with your loved ones as well as a feeling of creative satisfaction from the glass art you made, & time for an ice cream on the Pier!

Please note: Your item will need to be fired in a kiln in order to complete the fusing process. If you are local, it will be ready to pick up in approximately seven days (Your teacher will confirm this with you). If you have come from further afield and wish your item to be sent, there will be a nominal postal charge to pay.
