Penarth will host an extraordinary evening of reflection, courage and second chances this April, as Steve Gallant QGM visits Penarth Yacht Club to share his remarkable life story.

Gallant was serving a life sentence when he became involved in the 2019 London Bridge attack. While attending a prisoner rehabilitation event nearby, he and three other men confronted the attacker, helping to restrain him using a narwhal tusk taken from the venue. His actions contributed to preventing further harm, and he was later awarded the Queen’s Gallantry Medal in recognition of his bravery.
