Behind the Scenes: Roman Pottery
One of the defining features of the archaeology of the Roman period is the appearance for the first time of mass-produced pottery. This is a chance to see the types of pottery in use in Wales during the Roman period. You can learn how archaeologists use it both as evidence of everyday life in the and as a dating tool.

- The tour will last for approximately 60 minutes. Please meet at the Ticketing Desk in the Main Hall.
- The tour costs £8 per person.
- The tour will be in the curator’s first language which is English.
- Due to the behind-the-scenes nature of the tour there will be some spaces which will require you to be in close proximity to other visitors and the curator.
- Tickets are non-refundable, and no refunds or exchanges will be given to latecomers.
