Blackweir is a brand new series of shows heading to Blackweir Fields in Summer 2025 programmed by Cuffe & Taylor and DEPOT Live. Cardiff is a hub for live entertainment throughout the year with so many global stars heading to venues of all sizes across the city. Blackweir Fields is the perfect location for a brand new outdoor greenfield concert series with a potential capacity of up to 35,000 people, located perfectly central within the city just a short walk from the iconic Cardiff Castle & in very short proximity of Cardiff University.

Legendary thrash metal band SLAYER are heading to Cardiff this summer!

Set to take place in Cardiff’s Blackweir Fields on Thursday July 3, this is more than just a concert – it’s a celebration of everything the iconic band and their fans have built together. This unmissable outdoor show will mark the first time in six years that SLAYER will perform in the U.K and one of only 2 shows in Europe this year!
