From the Norman priory we will walk north to Corntown and then uphill through fields. Then walking on roads, we drop into the Alun valley through woodland and eventually crossing the river using stepping stones. Following the road passing a few houses and old quarries, then re-crossing the river over a medieval clapper bridge. Uphill and crossing the railway we return to the start.
