You’ll be guided by the supportive and experienced teachers from Glass By Design as all the family learn how to make a small fused glass hanger or tile by hand. This creative craft workshop is beginner-friendly, so don’t worry if this is a new activity for you. You’ll get all the tips and tricks you need.

Kids aged eight and over are welcome to join us in this glass art workshop where they can come up with their own designs with help from their teacher. It’s a really fun group activity for all the family and might be something you’ve never tried before.

Start by applying colourful glass to your piece to form a custom design. Once you’re happy, it’ll be ready for firing to create a stunning, long-lasting ornament to take home. You can leave them as is or purchase frames and mounting from your teacher to make them extra special.

By the end of this class, you’ll have loads of great memories from spending time with your loved ones as well as a feeling of creative satisfaction from the glass art you made.

Please note: Your item will need to be fired in a kiln in order to complete the fusing process. If you are local, it will be ready to pick up in approximately seven days (Your teacher will confirm this with you). If you have come from further afield and wish your item to be sent, there will be a nominal postal charge to pay.
