Full Day Fused Glass Workshop
Join the expert teachers at Glass By Design and learn how to make your own fused glass art with this fun, full-day workshop in Penarth!
During this glass craft class, you’ll cover all the tips, tricks and techniques needed to create a one-of-a-kind fused glass masterpiece from start to finish. Your teacher will start by demonstrating proper glass cutting methods before you plan and design your creation, ready to get hands-on with all of the equipment and tools in a kitted out studio.
You’ll get the chance to explore the complete decorative process as you experiment with glass stringers and frits to add bright colours to your piece, creating a stunning ornament to display in your home or give as a handmade gift!
It doesn’t matter if it’s your first foray into fused glass art, as this all-day workshop is suitable for beginners and the perfect chance to pick up a new hobby. You could even invite your loved ones and get creative as part of a unique hen do, birthday party or family catch up.
Please note:
Your item will need to be fired in a kiln in order to complete the fusing process. If you are local, it will be ready to pick up in approximately 7 days (Your teacher will confirm this with you). If you have come from further afield and wish your item to be sent, there will be a nominal postal charge to pay.
