Returning for the 2023 Festival is local group The Dinas Powis Ecumenical Seven, led by Dr Haydn Jones, OBE. The group has been performing together for more than 45 years. The group of 7-15 players is well known throughout Dinas Powys for performances at local village events, including the Rotary Dickensian Fayre, the Village Show, British Legion and the annual Carols around the Christmas Tree on the village green. If that wasn’t enough, they have even performed for H.M. The Queen Mother! Their most popular annual event continues to be their New Year’s Day Concert, which has been successfully running for more than 35 years at the Parish Hall.
