Celebrate 25 years of Julia Donaldson’s Postman Bear!

Join Griffin Books for an interactive story session, party games and themed craft activity to celebrate 25 years of Postman Bear and the much-loved Tales From Acorn Wood series. You’ll have the chance to meet and have your picture taken with Postman Bear himself, as he makes a special guest appearance at this year’s Penarth Literary Festival!

With sturdy flaps on every spread, iconic illustrations from Axel Scheffler and memorable rhyming stories that are a joy to read aloud, the Tale From Acorn Wood series has been delighting both parents and toddlers for over twenty-five years, selling over 10 million copies worldwide!

This event is aimed at children aged 2-5 years.

Tickets cost £10.00 per child and include a hardback book from the Tales from Acorn Wood collection. Additional sibling tickets (without a book) can be purchased for £5.00 per child. Each child ticket includes entry to the event plus a goodie bag to take home.

Parents/carers and younger sibling under the age of two may attend free of charge, though we ask that you book your free ticket in advance.
