Our Play & Learn Club offers families a warm and welcoming introduction to the learning environment.
Designed for babies and toddlers, these sessions create opportunities for young children to explore, play and interact in a calm and supportive setting. Through age and developmentally appropriate activities, including play, music, movement, stories and hands-on exploration, children are encouraged to explore and engage with their surroundings. These experiences help develop early communication skills, physical coordination, and curiosity about the world around them. Just as importantly, Play & Learn Club provides a space for parents and carers to share in these early experiences and connect with other local families.
These sessions reflect the same philosophy that guides our Early Years provision at Clare House School Porthcawl. We believe that the early years are a time of extraordinary growth, when children develop the foundations for confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning. Our approach focuses on nurturing the whole child, supporting social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through purposeful play and meaningful experiences.
In our Early Years environment, children are encouraged to explore, investigate, and ask questions while being supported by experienced and caring staff. Carefully planned activities help develop communication and language, early problem-solving, creativity, and physical development, ensuring that children build strong foundations for future learning.
For many families, Play & Learn Club provides a first glimpse into the nurturing community and educational approach that define Clare House School Porthcawl.
