We heard that October 28th 2023 is National Hug a Sheep Day! What better way to celebrate than to make your own needle felted woolly friend and try your hand at a new craft at this fun and creative felting craft class in Penarth.

You’ll connect with an expert local crafter for this felting class and will learn all about the tools and materials needed to create a beautiful felted sheep from a selection of solid fleece. Your experienced teacher will get you started with demonstrations of the techniques and equipment you can expect to master before handing things over to you to get felting!

It doesn’t matter if you’ve never tried needle felting before, as you’ll receive plenty of one-to-one guidance throughout your felting class. You’ll soon gain the skills and confidence you need to start felting solo when you get home.

At the end of this needle felting class for beginners, you’ll have a handcrafted sheep to take away with you, as well as lots of new felting skills to develop independently.
