Speakeasy Club is delighted to partner with The Bottle Shop, and bring you the unique ‘Wine tasting through sport’ series.    

‘Wine tasting through sport’ is a series of accessible wine tasting events that are linked to a prominent sporting event. The wines you will be tasting and learning about will be connected to the country involved in that sporting event, bringing with it stories and connections.

Courtesy of the experienced Nat and the team from the Bottle shop, we’ll be tasting some fantastic ‘World Cup Wines’, immersing ourselves in the terroir and stories from different winemakers, all ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

On the night we’re delighted to be joined by Wales, Cardiff & Celtic cult hero Joe Ledley. Following the formal tasting part of the evening, Joe will share some stories from this time north of the border, being part of THAT team at the Euros in 2016,  and take questions from the floor.
