Nominations to open November 29th 2023

Home, James Sommerin’s Michelin-starred restaurant, will launch its Christmas campaign this week.

Titled ‘Gifts of Gratitude’, the family-run business will invite people to nominate an individual who deserves a special Christmas surprise.

The nominated individuals will have a chance to receive a gift from Home, making their Christmas even more memorable, with 3x £300 gift vouchers to use in the restaurant waiting for the lucky winners.

A gift voucher will be presented each week in the run-up to Christmas, on Sunday 10th, 17th and 24th December. Anyone over the age of 16 can be nominated.

There is also a one-off prize for a child, aged between 8-15 years old. They will win a one-to-one cooking lesson with James and a hamper of goodies to cook at home. This prize will be presented on Sunday December 24th.

Home’s ‘Gift of Gratitude’ starts on Wednesday November 29th and will continue until Sunday December 24th.

“It’s a chance for people to nominate their own shining star this Christmas”, said James. “It is a celebration of kindness, generosity, and the joy of giving back to those who make a difference in our lives.

“Anyone can nominate anyone special: whether it’s a friend, a family member, a colleague, or even a neighbour who has shown exceptional kindness, resilience, or selflessness, we want to hear their story, and give them something to make Christmas just that little bit more special this year.”

Nominations can be made via a form on the Home website at https://homeatpenarth.co.uk/gifts-of-gratitude and people will be encourage to share their nomination on social media using the hashtag #homegiftsofgratitude to inspire others to participate.
