Sway, which with its cosy, colour-drenched interior takes aesthetic inspiration from the world of cocktail bars, will initially feature a carefully curated menu of twelve coffees roasted by four roasters based out of Bristol, Amsterdam, Montreal and Zurich. Unique, at least in within Cardiff, is her decision to make the Brew Bar a focal point of the shop: guests can pull up a chair, explore the menu, and watch their coffee be made right in front of them. For those who are drinking solo, or new to the neighbourhood, it’s a low-pressure invitation to feel part of the Sway tribe - whether they’ve come to drink a hand brewed Panama Geisha or are happy with a deliciously simple house flat white.
