On the hunt for fun Christmas craft ideas for your little ones to try this festive season? In this Penarth workshop, kids will experiment with the fun medium of glass and great creative making beautiful Christmas decorations to treasure!

Guided by the supportive and experienced teachers from Glass by Design, children will learn how to customise a glass Christmas decoration by hand. All the glass is pre-fried, so there is no sharp edges or complicated techniques to master- just lots of creative fun!

This creative craft workshop is beginner-friendly, so don’t worry if your child has never given fused glass a go. They’ll enjoy applying colourful glass frit to their piece for form a custom design, ready for firing to create a stunning, long-lasting ornament to take home and hang on your tree or wrap up for Christmas.

Please note: Your item will need to be fired in a kiln in order to complete the fusing process. If you are local, it will be ready to pick up in approximately seven days (your teacher will confirm this with you). If you have come from further afield and wish your item to be sent, there will be a nominal postal charge to pay.
