Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra is proud to present an ambitious programme at 7.30 on June 28 at the fabulous Hoddinott Hall.
Bernstein’s flamboyant Candide Overture commences proceedings in inimitable effervescent style. Guest soloist Rosie Biss (Principal cello with Welsh National Opera) performs Elgar’s magnificent Cello Concerto and the concert concludes with Shostakovich’s epic Symphony Number 10.
