This Autumn, The Ivy Cardiff is hosting an unforgettable event to celebrate Beaujolais Day. On Thursday 20th November, guests can enjoy an exclusive two to three-course menu alongside dazzling live entertainment and a fruity Beaujolais, of course.

Beaujolais Day, a staple event in Cardiff’s vibrant social calendar, is the celebration of Beaujolais Nouveau; a vibrant and fruity red wine produced in Burgundy, France. Beaujolais Day marks the start of the year’s harvest and is held annually in the third week each November. For many in Cardiff, it’s a chance to get dressed up and head into the city to celebrate with family and friends.

To drink on the day, guests can enjoy Domaine de Colonat Beaujolais Villages Nouveau 2025, a balanced and elegant wine with a generous fruit profile. To pair with the wine, The Ivy Cardiff is offering an exclusive, French-inspired 3-course meal for £50, or 2-course for £45. The menu includes a selection of Ivy favourites, alongside exclusive dishes, carefully curated by the restaurant’s executive chefs for the special occasion.

Starters include:

  • A rich and savoury French Onion Soup, finished with golden gratinated cheese croutons and topped with fresh parsley.
  • Lobster and Cheese Souffle, a luxurious twice-baked soufflé, with fresh lobster and mature cheese, served in cream sauce with tomato and samphire.
  • A hand cut, Oak Smoked Beef Tartare, seared and oak-smoked, served with parmesan, golden egg yolk and crisp, granary toast.
