The cards for Good Causes Christmas shop is coming to Penarth this Christmas, opening at Penarth Methodist Church, Woodland Place, on Saturday 31st October.

Run by Lisa, Helen and a team of local volunteers, the shop will give customers the opportunity to choose from a wide range of charity Christmas cards, alongside traditional Advent calendars, gift wrap and gifts, with 100% of proceeds supporting charities and good causes.

This year, Cards for Good Causes is encouraging shoppers to Make Christmas Mean More by celebrating simple traditions that make Christmas special – from choosing a card and writing a personal message, to opening the doors of an Advent calendar or choosing a thoughtful gift for someone special.

Lisa, the local Shop Manager, said: “We’re delighted to be bringing Cards for Good Causes to Penarth this Christmas.  It’s wonderful to have a place where people can come together, enjoy a little Christmas magic and choose cards and gifts for the people they care about, while supporting charities at the same time.

As well as supporting charities, a percentage of every purchase also benefits Penarth Methodist Church, our wonderful venue.  We’re excited to be part of the Penarth community this Christmas.  Please pop in and say hello!”

The Cards for Good Causes Christmas shop will be open from 31st October at Penarth Methodist Church, Woodland Place, CF64 2EX.  Open Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm.

The wider Cards for Good Causes Christmas range is also available online at cardsforcharity.co.uk.  More than 120 Cards for Good Causes Christmas shops will open across the UK this Christmas, with all profits helping support cards for Good Causes charity partners.’
