Global Sixth Form Dinner at Cardiff Castle
It’s Westbourne’s pioneering spirit that truly sets it apart. Through a network of global campuses in the UK, Sydney, Singapore, and soon Mumbai, students collaborate across continents, sharing projects, ideas and research. This month, students in Penarth spent a week with their global peers visiting London, Oxford and Cambridge universities, developing a global science project, and celebrating their shared vision at a spectacular Sixth Form banquet at Cardiff Castle.
Leadership and innovation take centre stage at Future Leaders Lab, a mini-MBA experience run by INSEAD professors in Singapore. Paired with internships, international exchanges and mentoring, Westbourne students gain not only academic brilliance, but also the mindset and skills to lead globally.
In addition, the school’s proprietary AI tutor, KnowVa Coach, developed with Cardiff University, delivers personalised learning that has boosted student performance by an average of 30% — the equivalent of two grades higher.
“At Westbourne, you’re encouraged to lead, to question and to innovate,” says Sixth Form student Eleri. “We’re not just learning for exams – we’re learning to make an impact. I’m so excited for what comes next.”
