About Olivia

I'm currently studying A-Level English, Media Studies and Politics. I am a keen reader, I have currently read some really interesting books including 'Airhead' by Emily Maitlis and 'Scoops' by Sam McAlister, my favourite authors are Joan Didion and Virginia Woolf. I love coffee and on weekends I love to explore different independent coffee shops. The people that inspire me and individuals who I look up to are Laura Kuenssberg, Emily Maitlis and Pippa Crerar. I love to write and hope to do more of it, learning about language choice, crafting sentences and exploring the meaning of words is something I find so interesting. Writing also allows me to speak to different people, with different perspectives and the ever-evolving nature of news is something I find really intriguing. Each day, uncovering a new story, different from yesterday, is incredibly exciting.
