Swansea Building Society has welcomed Christopher Rice as the new manager of its Cowbridge branch. With over 20 years in financial services, he brings experience in mortgage advice and community engagement, aiming to strengthen local ties and support clients with tailored financial solutions.
To mark his appointment, he will be hosting a mortgage drop-in session at the Cowbridge branch on Saturday, 8 November 2025, where he will be available to meet members of the local community, answer questions, and provide information about the Society’s wide range of tailored mortgage products. The session is open to all, with no appointment necessary.

Forage Farm Shop & Kitchen once again hosted its annual pumpkin picking event, now in its sixth year. Families could explore the patch, enjoy seasonal treats, and take part in Halloween- themed activities. It’s become a staple of the autumn calendar, drawing visitors from across the Vale.
