Penarth, February 2025 – Following the overwhelming success of the last two Christmas pop-ups, the Dawnstalkers swimming group and Hot 2 Cold Sauna Co are excited to announce that the Seafront Sauna is back by popular demand!

The sauna will return to Penarth Seafront from Wednesday, February 12th to Sunday, March 2nd. Hundreds of people took part in the recent Christmas event, with a hugely positive response and unanimous calls for a more regular presence on the seafront.

From icy sea dips to the comforting heat of the wood-barrelled sauna, our previous pop-ups have brought warmth, wellness, and connection to Penarth. Now, we are delighted to be back sooner than ever to meet the growing demand for hot-cold therapy by the sea!

Hot-cold therapy provides a myriad of health benefits – from improved circulation and stress relief to fostering deep connections within the community. With the stunning seafront as a backdrop, it’s the perfect way to invigorate body and mind.

Free Sunrise Community Sauna

Kickstart your day with our free community sauna sessions at sunrise, from 07:00 to 08:30 daily. No booking needed—just turn up, dip in the sea, and warm up in the sauna as the sun rises. Whether you’re a seasoned sea swimmer or just curious, all are welcome!

Bookable Sauna Sessions

From 09:00 to 18:00 daily, the sauna is open for bookings. For just £10 per person, enjoy a 55-minute session where you can move between the sauna and the sea as much as you like. Perfect for groups, with space for up to 8 people per session.
