BFI Film Academy
For three weekends this autumn, BFI Film Academy will be running a course on General Filmmaking for 16 to 19 year olds.
BFI Film Academy help train and inspire the next generation of UK filmmakers, supporting young people aged 16 to 19 to develop the commercial and cultural knowledge and skills to help make a career in film. No experience is necessary.
As a student of a Film Academy Short course, you’ll gain experience working alongside industry professionals and will be offered hands-on filmmaking experience to help develop practical knowledge and skills.
Previous attendees of courses have gone on to work with the BBC, Disney, Pinewood Studios and more, and many find the qualification gained invaluable when applying for university or further study.
