Learn how to make beautiful Christmas ornaments using air drying clay! This is a great way to spruce up your Christmas tree or craft handmade decorations to gift to friends and family – plus you’ll soon be a pro at making with clay.

This workshop is ideal for beginners and experienced crafters alike, giving you a great opportunity to enjoy festive inspiration and wonderful crafting advice. The techniques you’ll be shown include cutting, shaping and stamping clay. You can even personalise with initials or patterns using the kit provided.

The Hobbycraft colleague leading your workshop will show you how to use everything included in the craft kit to create seasonal star ornaments in two sizes, with a hole for your twine to be threaded through. The host will also show you how to create your own shape, such as a Christmas tree, using the modelling tools in your kit.

Your clay stars will take time to set at the end of the workshop, but you’ll be able to paint and decorate the designs in your own time once they have.

Please note, our workshop spaces in some stores are located in open areas and we will endeavour to minimise interruption from other crafters.

Within the workshop, you’ll be able to make up to 10 clay decorations and tags.
