Founded in 2001, MaP is a creative, support and innovative group of Artists and Designers with a focus on textiles.

This exhibition is a celebration of 21 years since the Makers and Practitioners (MaP) group was established. It was initially set up as a creative outlet for a small group of tutors and past students from the Contemporary Textile Practice degree course at UWIC. The group has evolved over the years and today all members are freelance practitioners in a diverse and exciting range of textile media.

The work on show features selected pieces from past exhibitions over the last 21 years and new work celebrating MaP’s coming of age.
