Exclusive Gifts in Wills event

Your story, your legacy: The impact of one legacy gift on the national collection.

Join us for a special afternoon to learn how one legacy gift helped us acquire 21 views of North Wales by Paul Sandby (1731-1809); the most important recent addition to Amgueddfa Cymru’s collection of Welsh landscape art.

Not yet displayed to the public, you will have a sneak peek at a selection of works during the event. Andrew Renton, Head of Design Collections, will delve into the cultural importance of the artworks, and explore why they hold a prominent place in the narrative of Wales.

Our legal partners, Geldards, will join us and be on hand to answer any of your questions on how gifts to charities can be effective form of inheritance tax planning.

Gifts in wills have the power to transform our work and collections. If you’d like to understand more about this impactful way of supporting our work, long into the future, please join us at this event.

Please RSVP by Friday 3 November by emailing: development@museumwales.ac.uk
