A chance meeting at a lack lustre Art Garfunkel concert in Cardiff led to the birth of the No Worries Uke Band.

Dinas Powys residents Bryan, Maurice, Tim and Roger and their friends Grahame and Huw vowed to restore pride in popular music with the help of the humble ukulele.

After months of practice in darkened rooms the band has emerged again to the delight of Dinas Powys residents, who can catch their high energy brand of ukulele driven music on the Village Green.

After a first ever appearance for the GGDPMF in May 2022 the band is delighted to have been asked to play again for this year’s 2023 festival.
