Music at No.5 Presents : Live Music – QUO FISH

Pearl Fish, songwriter, singer and musician from SE London. Intimate and warm, her sound shifts with a transient scape of musicians and projects, fronted by Pearl’s “sometimes spoken and sometimes soaring” vocals and lyrics fuelled by “murmurings of melancholia, hope and wit”. Last year she was invited to play in The Den at Cambridge folk festival, having previously played stages at Greenbelt, Liverpool Sound City and Smallworld. The summer of 2021 saw her support Rachel Sermanni on tour with The Nest Collective around the UK, and Glasgow’s King Tuts welcomed her as part of Celtic Connections.
Rob Quo is a contemporary folk/blues performer and songwriter; emotive & humorous in equal measure, his songs touch on the human experience with lyrical grace and a melodic simplicity. Quo has carved out his own space among the fertile singer-songwriter scene of London, seeing him regularly treading the boards at some of London’s most well-loved grassroots venues including Camden’s Green Note and The Water Rats, Kings Cross.
