The Annual Santa Fun Run is held at Barry Island each year and organised by Barry Town Council. This year, the Fun Run has been incorporated as of the Barry Christmas Festival jointly organised in partnership between Barry Town Council and the Vale of Glamorgan Council.

This year the Santa Fun Run will be held on Sunday, 11th December at Barry Island (registration begins at 10am/run starts at 11am). All participants must register beforehand, and all adults will receive a Santa Suit to run in, whilst children (under 16) are encouraged to dress up and take part in the Mayor’s Fancy Dress competition.

The morning is the perfect start to the Christmas countdown and festive fun for all the family!

All sponsorship money raised will be donated to the Mayor’s Charities.
