The Keith Little Trio performs the best in jazz from the Swing era, recalling the days of Benny Goodman, Count Basie and ‘Fats’ Waller to name a few. Expect an enjoyable night of Jazz and Swing from the 1930s, 40s, and beyond. An evening that will treat you to a fantastic selection of great music.
Keith Little was first introduced to jazz at age 14 by his father Don, a fine pianist in his own right. After many years on the road throughout Europe and the UK, Keith returned home to lead one South Wales top bands; Keith Little Hot Six and later Keith Little Band. Stalwarts on the jazz scene, performing at many Festivals; Brecon, Bude, Keswick to name a few. He is still a fixture, thrilling audiences with his unique jazz touch, and stunning boogie-woogie piano stylings.
Gethin Liddington is a popular presence on the jazz scene in South Wales and beyond. He’s a highly versatile musician who has played across a variety of jazz genres, has been a featured soloist with the Capital City Jazz Orchestra and here will pay tribute to the swing era.
Don ‘donnie joe’ Sweeney is a highly active and in demand Guitarist, Singer, and Double Bassist specialising in Swing and mainstream Jazz as well as being a talented vocalist.
