Since its inception in 2001, this competition has established itself as one of the most prestigious in the Principality. Three of its previous winners have represented Wales at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the Year and Wales’ representative this year is a past finalist, Jessica Robinson.

Sponsored by Mr and Mrs David Brace OBE, its patron is Denis O’Neill and the adjudicators are the world renowned David Jackson, OBE, Rebecca Evans, CBE and Anthony Gabrielle. The final is compèred by Beverley Humphries, MBE.
