Artists of all ages and abilities are invited to submit their artwork for inclusion in our third annual Open Exhibition.

 The exhibition will be on display from the 14th September – 15th of October.

For 2023 we are inviting artists to respond to the theme of ‘Trails’ 

2023 is all about navigating the land, taking personal journeys, Trails through time, and exploring the road less taken. Finding Forgotten Treasure and Journeys of the senses. Submit new and existing work that responds to this theme.

Deadline for submission is Sunday 6th August at midnight.

There is no admission fee. In order to maximise the number of artists we can include, we have limited applications to one artwork per artist. All submissions are subject to a review process by a panel of representatives from Penarth Town Council, Shop Penarth and Amgueddfa Cymru. The exhibition is gratefully supported by the Vale of Glamorgan’s Strong Communities Grant Fund.

The Turner House gallery is operated by Penarth Town Council in partnership with National Museum Wales.
