Dark Run is a brand new series of fun runs in support of Tŷ Hafan, taking place this autumn!

As the nights draw in, we’re lighting up some of Wales’ most loved destinations for a glowing experience.

The Barry Island Dark Run – is an epic 2.5k fun run, that starts under the Eastern and Western shelters, which will be lit up especially for this event. Then make your way up to the Barry Clifftop, before looping back around past the RNLI yellow boot and Smugglers Cove Adventure Golf, with a spooky surprise waiting for you as you pass the beach huts

Run or walk, the choice is yours.

Fancy dress is optional but strongly encouraged – think bright neon colours and Halloween dress up! – with a prize for the best costume.

Registration opens at 17:45 and the event starts at 18:30, and there isn’t a time limit for completing the route.
