Vale of Glamorgan Festival: The Carducci String Quartet
Described by The Strad as presenting “a masterclass in unanimity of musical purpose, in which severity could melt seamlessly into charm, and drama into geniality″, the Carducci Quartet is recognised as one of today’s most successful string quartets. This is a unique opportunity to hear the Carducci’s over three events, including, with the ensemble’s favourite works, the UK premiere of “Lines made by walking” by John Luther Adams. Also features are works by Festival features composer Huw Watkins, and Tarik O’Regan.
