Starting from the car park of Gilston Manor, you walk the short distance to the Village of St Athan and enter St Tathan Church, where you will be able to look around the church and see the tomb of Sir William Berkrolies and his wife Phelice De Vere. Followed by a short history of the church and the Berkroles. Leaving the church you walk the short distance back to Gileston  Manor and the Church of St Giles again you can enter the church and a brief history will be given. Afterwards you can wander the magnificent gardens of Gileston Manor. An optional extra is a guided tour of the estate and an informal afternoon tea in the garden or Marquee. Cost £15.
