‘Gardener’s World’ Presenter Sue Kent to Visit Griffin Books

Griffin Books’ busy autumn events programme shows no sign of slowing as another TV personality is due to visit the shop this weekend. On Saturday 28 October, Welsh gardener and TV presenter Sue Kent will stop by the award-winning bookshop to sign copies of her new book, Garden Notes.

Sue Kent is a TV presenter, an RHS disability ambassador and award-winning garden designer. Her television work includes leading gardening programmes such as BBC 2’s Gardeners’ World. She has been gardening in Wales for more than thirty years and in that time has developed a breadth of knowledge to help make gardening easy and enjoyable for all ages and abilities.

Based on Sue’s practical experience, Garden Notes has been specially designed to be an invaluable aid to gardeners. Alongside space for notes, shopping lists and gardens to visit, the notebook contains concise information for gardening jobs including vegetable planting, plant and soil health, pruning tips and much more.

This is a unique opportunity to meet Sue and get some invaluable tips to ensure your garden is blooming next year!

The book signing will take place from 12.00 noon – 1.00 pm on Saturday 28 October at Griffin Books, 9A Windsor Road, Penarth, CF64 1JB. Tickets cost £15.00 and include a signed copy of Garden Notes.
