Heartstopper Vol 5 became an instant #1 bestseller and remains the UK’s fastest selling graphic novel ever. Heartstopper Vol 1 has become the top-selling graphic novel in a combined adult and children’s chart since BookScan records began.
Heartstopper Volume 6 is set to be the book of the summer and the top of every teen’s (and adult’s!) holiday reading list. By Volume 6, everyone in school knows Nick and Charlie. Everyone knows they’re going to be together forever. But Charlie’s busy with his bid to become head boy. And while Nick is preparing to leave for college, he’s starting to wonder who he’ll be…without Charlie.
‘Perfect for teens and adults’ (The Daily Mail), the graphic novel series has inspired an outpouring of love from fans old and new. The series is now an Emmy award-winning live-action Netflix adaptation starring Kit Connor and Joe Locke as the beloved Nick and Charlie, written and executive produced by Alice Oseman. After three seasons, the screen adaptation will conclude in 2026 with Heartstopper Forever, a feature-length film based on Volume 6 hitting screens on 17th July.
Originally a webcomic on Tumblr and Tapas, Heartstopper has amassed an enormous online fanbase with over 163.1 million views to date. Hachette Children’s Group published Heartstopper Volume 1 more widely in Spring 2019, followed by Volume 2 in July of the same year. Since then, Hachette Children’s Group have published a further three volumes, an official Heartstopper Colouring Book, The Heartstopper Yearbook and The Heartstopper 2026 Calendar.
