This summer, Wales Millennium Centre presents Monsieur Vincent, a breathtaking virtual reality experience exploring the behind-the-scenes of some of Vincent van Gogh’s greatest work. Running from 21 July to 1 September 2025, the Welsh premiere invites audiences into Van Gogh’s world through immersive 360° visuals, music and narration by acclaimed French actress Rebecca Marder.

Set in Auvers-sur-Oise and guided one of Van Gogh’s last muses, visitors experience the artist’s story firsthand – with iconic works like Café in Arles, Starry Night and Portrait of Van Gogh brought vividly to life. Inspired by Van Gogh’s final paint palette and set to a haunting Liszt-Wagner score, Monsieur Vincent is an emotional journey through colour, creativity and legacy.

Alongside this highlight, Wales Millennium Centre’s summer of discovery includes:

  • Creative workshops for all ages, including percussion and singing with Young at HeArt’s Anna Billes
  • A new interactive art installation in Glanfa, Van Gogh: Blooming Threads of Joy and Hope. A joyful textile exhibition led by Welsh-Persian artist Naseem Syed, reimagining Van Gogh’s art through community-made pieces.
  • Armadilo, a curated retail space celebrating Welsh makers
  • Ffrwnais, offering fresh meals, bakes and specialty coffee daily

With world-class art, food, shopping and creativity under one roof, make a day of it at Wales Millennium Centre this summer.
