You may already have spotted one of Mouse House’s enchanting handcrafted pieces around Cowbridge. Behind every table, shelf and bookcase is Adrian Llewellyn-Jones, whose woodworking journey began with something far simpler.
During the Covid lockdowns, Adrian made himself a walking stick for uneven woodland paths. Friends soon wanted one too, before his garden shed gradually filled with thumb sticks and, later, furniture made from reclaimed scaffold boards.
Six years on, thousands of shelves, tables, bookcases, shoe racks and chests have found homes across the UK in houses, restaurants, cafés and pubs.
