I’m currently melting as I sit writing this in the middle of a heatwave. Summer is most definitely here and it’s not being subtle about it. But as events organisers we’ve got to have one eye on the season ahead. So while I’m dreaming of a cold Aperol Spritz, I’m also planning for our autumn/winter programme.

Autumn is a huge deal in the book industry; it’s when the publishers release their leading titles. Everything from the biggest names in literary and crime fiction, to sporting memoirs and celebrity stories will be hitting our shelves. So where to start when it comes to pitching for events?
