The associated galleries of EAST are delighted to announce the next edition of the Roath Gallery Weekend – a long weekend highlighting and celebrating the creativity of this vibrant Cardiff neighbourhood.
The RGW, which runs from 15-17 May, will see a varies and dynamic programme – with late opening and special events throughout the weekend. The galleries have co-ordinated events to complement their current exhibition – which ranges from sculpture, photography, painting and craft. The Friday will also see many venues staying open later than usual, perfect for an evening of gallery-hopping.
The Albany Gallery will be open until 8pm on Friday 15 May and our Beside the Sea exhibition can be viewed throughout the weekend. Refreshments will be available.
In addition, batik artist Rhona Tooze will be giving a demonstration of her work in the gallery on Sunday 17 May from 11am-4pm.
