Rugby Girls Sell Poppies While Looking For New Members

Skyla Rodd, 10, and her sister Alexis, 6, from Penarth RFC girls group helped sell poppies from the famous poppy caravan on Saturday 4th November.

The girls were representing their girls rugby group, that has been running for just over a year at Penarth Athletic Club which is looking for more girls to come along. They meet on a Wednesday evening 5pm-6pm at the club. It’s a very informal group with girls from 6 to 16 working together to have fun and to improve their fitness and non-contact rugby skills.

It is completely free and they are always looking for new girls to come along and join in with no commitment, all abilities are welcome with no previous rugby experience necessary.

If you are interested, why not pop along on a Wednesday evening and say hi?
