Free Christmas Event Organised in Cardiff For Those With Hearing Loss

A special community event with a festive twist is being organised in Cardiff next month to help those struggling with hearing difficulties.

Award winning audiology specialists, Cardiff Hearing, based in Ely, are holding their inaugural Christmas ‘Jingle and Mingle’ drop in event on Thursday 8th December 2022 (2pm-5pm) providing attendees the opportunity to engage with hearing care specialists, free of charge, in a relaxed and informal setting.

The event, which is being hosted at the historic Insole Court in Llandaff, will be attended by audiologists and ear care professionals from Cardiff Hearing, who will be providing ear health checks, free advice and support and servicing hearing aids in readiness for the festive season.

Also, in attendance will be hearing charities Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Hearing Link, along with a showcase of some of the latest hearing aid technology.

Cardiff Hearing Owner and Audiologist, Sonja Jones, who was excited to announce details of the event said, “Hearing loss affects so many people but there is still reluctance for people to seek professional help. By organising something like this, it allows people to come and find out information without the pressure of going into a clinic room. And what could be better than to do it all with a nice glass of mulled wine and a mince pie?”

Cardiff Hearing, which is soon to open a second practice in Taffs Well, is encouraging guests to drop in anytime between 2-5pm, but to guarantee a place, pre-registering is encouraged. To register and for more information, visit www.cardiffhearing.co.uk/xmas.
