Great News- Willmore’s 1938 is Back in Penarth

Willmore’s 1938 is back! We were all disheartened to hear the news that Willmore’s 1938 had to leave their former home on Stanwell Road last year, but despite that bump in the road, owners, Matt and Charlotte, took over the lovely little blue George the Van and set up shop at Cosmeston Lakes Country Park.

Providing teas, coffee and delicious sweet treats for visitors, George the Van quickly became very popular, and Matt and Charlotte were being asked to regularly help out at events, such as Newport Marathon, Penarth and Dinas Runners Relay and Downhill Derby at Penarth Summer Festival.

And now Willmore’s 1938 are coming home to Penarth, with a new venture that they’re very excited to share with you! Matt and Charlotte have spent the past few months getting their new home ready at Penarth’s Cliff Tops, taking the old golf kiosk and transforming it into a stylish new deli and takeaway cafe. The doors will be open once again in August.

With a whole new interior, deli counter and the delicious teas and coffees we all know and love, there is so much be to excited about! And of course, the backdrop of this new venture is Penarth’s stunning coastline, so we can’t think of a better place to sip coffee in the summer sun.

Both Matt and Charlotte are excited to start their new chapter at the Cliff Tops, and want to invite you to come and see what they’ve been working on. Bring the family, bring the dog, and remind yourself o what Willmore’s 1938 does best: providing delicious food and drink, always with friendly service.
