Skinfix is also excited to launch, this spring, its new multi-award winning Dermalux® LED phototherapy treatments. Dermalux® is the world’s leading and trusted British brand for professional LED phototherapy which is Medically CE certified for acne, psoriasis, wound healing, and pain relief (muscular skeletal), as well as being FDA approved and provides unrivalled clinically proven results for a wide range of indications and combination applications for the face and body. LED phototherapy can be provided as a stand-alone treatment or is a perfect “add-on” to one of our luxury facial, diamond dermabrasion, or IPL skin rejuvenation treatments, further enhancing your results.

Owner and lead skin specialist, Jessica Johnson started the business having completed her accredited skincare training programme at the Academy of Beauty and is continually developing her skills with an objective to become the best skincare specialist in Cardiff and the Vale.

Jessica says, “starting my own business at a young-age was both daunting and extremely exciting. Having left school, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in the beauty business, so having completed my training two years ago and spending six months creating our brand-new clinic, I’m loving everything I’m doing. I feel exceptionally lucky- my business is growing well, we’ve created a great team here at Skinfix and our clients seem to love the experience they receive when they visit.”

Skinfix also has the backing of formal accreditation through Health Inspectorate Wales (HIW) for its laser therapy treatments. Gaining HIW accreditation is an arduous and extremely rigorous process and demonstrates the high-levels of care and attention that Skinfix strive to provide, so clients can be assured that they’ll receive treatments from a highly trained specialist laser practitioner that’s been accredited by the Welsh Government’s healthcare inspection agency.

Kelly Davies is our Aesthetic Specialist who is medically trained, has been a neo-natal sister since 2008 and became an aesthetic practitioner in 2013. Kelly has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the aesthetics industry, having developed her skills with an exact eye for detail and precision, seeking to achieve almost perfection.

Kelly says, “I’m a kind and caring person and will listen in depth to my client’s needs. I’ll always offer the best advice I can, even if that means advising a client if the treatment is considered not necessary or unsuitable. I host a friendly, inviting, and hospitable clinic and will always make you feel welcome.”

Danielle Harding has been with Skinfix Clinic since day one and is an exceptional manicurist and pedicurist. With two decades of experience, Danielle brings a world-class touch to her beauty services, having travelled globally to pamper high-profile celebrity clients. As a seasoned beauty therapist, her focus lies in delivering luxury manicures and pedicures. Thriving as a professional therapist for the past decade, Danielle ensures a luxury experience for every client at our clinic.

To celebrate Skinfix Clinic’s first year in business, we’re hosting an Open Day on Friday 3 May, 12pm-8pm, where all our practitioners will be on hand to talk about the services and treatments they provide. We’ll be offering fizz, canapés and refreshments throughout the day and there’ll also be a free raffle for a surprise gift for one lucky winner.
