Penarth Town Mayor, in partnership with Penarth View, is inviting the town’s youngest creatives to take part in a special art competition in honour of Penarth Pride. It’s a chance to show the town what love, acceptance and being yourself means through your own artwork.

This exciting competition is all about celebrating identity, creativity, and community. Children and teens aged 3 to 17 are invited to design either a Penarth Pride mascot or logo, depending on their age group:

• Ages 3–10: Design a Penarth Pride mascot
• Ages 11–17: Create a Penarth Pride logo

All entries should be submitted on an A4 sheet, and must include your name, age, school (if applicable), and parent or guardian contact details.

There are three convenient drop-off points for your designs:

• West House, Stanwell Road
• Community drop-off points:
  • Penarth Library, Stanwell Road
  • Griffin Books, Windsor Arcade

Deadline: 15 August 2025

A panel of judges will select one winner from each category. Prizes will be presented by the Town Mayor at a special ceremony (date to be confirmed).

• 🥇 1st prize: £50 voucher to spend in participating local businesses (donated by Penarth View)
• 🥈 2nd prize: Griffin Books gift voucher
• 🥉 3rd prize: A sweet treat from Umpa Lumpa
